Moon in the signs
The Pleiades are the third Arabic mansion and the most quoted star group in classical Arabic poetry, where they stand for something unreachably high.
Al-Thurayya is 'the abundant one'. A lover is told she is as far above him as the Pleiades; a rise in fortune lifts a man to them. The same cluster is Krittika in India and the Seven Sisters in Greece, which makes it the one asterism that turns up in nearly every lunar system on the planet, presumably because it is small, tight and unmistakable.
