Folklore #132

The point astrologers call Black Moon Lilith is the empty focus of the Moon's orbit — the far end of the ellipse, where nothing is.
There are two versions in software, a smoothed 'mean' one and a wobbly 'true' one, and they can sit twenty degrees apart, which is a large discrepancy for a point people write about so confidently. It is also easily confused with Waltemath's Dark Moon, a second satellite announced in 1898 that does not exist and was never observed by anybody who was not looking for it.
