Folklore #168
Rituals & practice
Lying on the floor while somebody plays singing bowls and gongs, scheduled for the full moon because that is when people will come.
The instruments are Himalayan in origin but the format is a Western studio invention of the last few decades, and the lunar timing is scheduling rather than doctrine. What it delivers is an hour of enforced stillness with no phone, which is the same active ingredient as most of this list.
