Born on the cusp
Also called cusp baby
Being born within a day or so of the Sun changing signs.
The date the Sun enters a sign shifts by a day or so from year to year, so a birthday near the change can fall on either side. A chart calculated for the actual birth time settles which sign the Sun was in. Some modern astrologers read a “cusp” birth as a blend of both signs; traditional astrology treats the Sun as simply in one sign.
