Chart wheel
Also called wheel, chart diagram
The circular drawing of a chart: signs around the rim, houses as slices, planets placed by degree.
Modern Western charts are drawn as a wheel with the Ascendant on the left, so the eastern horizon is at nine o'clock and the zodiac runs counter-clockwise. Aspect lines are often drawn across the middle. Older European charts were square, and Indian charts still often are. On this site the wheel and the tables beside it show the same result.
