Moon
Also called ☽, Luna
Earth's satellite; in a chart, astrologers read its sign and house as the emotional, instinctive side of a person.
The Moon crosses a sign in about two and a half days, so its sign often needs the birth time; on some days it changes sign during the day. Astrologers associate it with feeling, habit, comfort and the body's rhythms, and traditionally with the mother. It is never retrograde.
