Pluto

Found in 1930 and reclassified as a dwarf planet in 2006; astrologers still use it, associating it with power, depth and transformation.

Pluto's elongated orbit gives it anything from about twelve to over thirty years in a sign. Modern astrologers associate it with intensity, endings and renewal and make it the co-ruler of Scorpio. Astronomy's reclassification changed nothing about its position, which is what a chart uses.
