Ephemeris
Also called ephemerides
A table, or a calculation, giving the positions of celestial bodies at regular times.
Astrologers once drew charts from printed ephemerides listing each planet's longitude at noon or midnight. Software now computes them. This site's ephemeris is its own: the VSOP87 planetary theory, Meeus's lunar series and a fit to NASA JPL's DE421 for Pluto, checked against JPL's ephemeris to within a few arcseconds.

Written for Cool Moon Facts in its own words. An astrology source documents what astrologers believe or practise; it does not establish that astrology works.
