Moiety
Half of a planet's orb, in the medieval system where orbs belong to planets rather than aspects.
Medieval and Renaissance astrologers gave each planet an orb of light (the Sun about 15°, the Moon about 12°, and less for the others). Two planets were in aspect when their separation came within the sum of their half-orbs, their moieties. This site uses the simpler modern by-aspect rule and says so.
