Obliquity of the ecliptic
Also called obliquity, axial tilt
The tilt between the ecliptic and the celestial equator, about 23.44°.
The obliquity enters every calculation that connects the zodiac with the sky's daily turning: the Ascendant, the Midheaven and house cusps all depend on it. It also sets how far north and south the Sun can go.
