Rectification
Also called birth-time rectification
Estimating an unknown birth time by working backwards from events in a person's life.
Astrologers who rectify a chart try candidate birth times and keep the one whose timing techniques best fit known events. Because it depends on astrological assumptions, a rectified time is not evidence of anything, and this site does not rectify; it works with the time and uncertainty it is given.
