Traditional astrology
Also called classical astrology
A broad name for Western astrology before the modern era, and its modern revival: seven planets, dignities, sect.
It spans Hellenistic, medieval and Renaissance practice, which differ among themselves. Its revival since the 1980s owes much to translations of the old texts.
