Traditional planets
Also called classical planets, the seven planets, visible planets
The seven bodies visible to the eye: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.
Everything in astrology before 1781 was built on these seven: the rulerships, exaltations, terms, faces and planetary hours. Traditional astrologers still use only these; modern astrologers add the outer planets.
