Declination
Angle north or south of the celestial equator, like latitude on the sky.
Zodiac positions measure along the ecliptic; declination measures north-south from the equator. The Sun's declination runs between about +23.4° and −23.4° over a year. Some astrologers use declination to define parallel aspects.
