Prenatal syzygy

Also called prenatal lunation, prenatal eclipse

The last new or full moon before a birth, used in some traditional techniques.

Hellenistic and medieval astrologers used it in rectification and in judging a chart; some modern astrologers look at the last eclipse before birth in the same way.
