Whole Sign houses
Also called Whole Sign
The oldest house system: the whole rising sign is the first house, the next sign the second, and so on.
Hellenistic astrologers used Whole Sign houses, and many traditional and some modern astrologers have returned to them. They work at every latitude. The Midheaven is not a cusp in this system and can fall in the ninth, tenth or eleventh house.
- How it is worked out
- House n begins at 0° of the sign n−1 signs after the rising sign.
